My Cozy Morning Coffee Routine at Home (Better Than Starbucks)
There is something so comforting about a slow morning at home with a really good cup of coffee.
Over the years I’ve realized that making coffee at home can actually be better than stopping at a coffee shop, and it saves a lot of money too. My morning coffee routine has become one of my favorite little daily rituals.
This is the exact way I make my coffee every morning — simple, cozy, and honestly better than anything I can grab on the go.

My Favorite Coffee Setup

One of the best investments I ever made for my kitchen was my espresso machine.
I use the Breville espresso machine, and it makes café-quality coffee right at home.
It gives you full control over your coffee, from grinding the beans to pulling the perfect espresso shot.
Once you get the hang of it, it becomes such a relaxing process.
Starting With Fresh Beans
I always keep my coffee beans stored in my favorite glass coffee containers. Not only do they keep the beans fresh, but they look beautiful sitting on the counter.
Little things like this make my coffee station feel organized and cozy.
My Espresso Tools

To get a good espresso shot, having the right tools makes a big difference.
I use the KNODOS espresso tools set which includes a tamper and accessories to help pack the coffee evenly.

This helps create that smooth, rich espresso shot.
Pulling the Perfect Shot

Once the espresso is packed and ready, I place my little glass espresso cup under the machine and pull the shot.
Watching the espresso drip into the cup is honestly one of my favorite parts of the whole process.
The smell alone is enough to wake me up.
My Favorite Coffee Flavor
Every morning I add a little bit of my favorite coffee syrup.
Right now I’m loving Torani Hazelnut syrup. It gives my coffee that perfect sweet and nutty flavor.

It makes my homemade coffee taste just like something you’d order at a coffee shop.
Steaming the Milk

After the espresso shot is ready, I steam my milk until it’s warm and creamy. Then I pour it right into my mug with the espresso.
It creates the perfect smooth latte.
And honestly… it feels like a tiny luxury every morning.
Why I Love Making Coffee at Home

Making coffee at home has become such a peaceful way to start the day.
It saves money, tastes amazing, and it’s one of those little routines that just makes mornings feel slower and more intentional.
Instead of rushing out to Starbucks, I can enjoy my coffee right here at home.
And somehow… it always tastes better.
Now, If i could just perfect my latte art, I will be in good shape! 😃 ☕️
