I’m Back! — Life Lately and What’s Next…

There’s something about starting over that feels both exciting and a little scary.

If you’ve been around for a while, you might remember that I used to blog a couple years ago. Back then, blogging was something I truly loved. I loved sharing pieces of life, creating beautiful spaces online, and connecting with people who enjoyed the same things I did.

But life has a way of changing directions.

Over the past few years, my life has grown and shifted in ways I never could have predicted. Between working in the emergency department, being a wife and mom, going back to college, and simply trying to balance everyday life, blogging slowly got pushed to the side.

Still, it never really left my mind.

I’ve missed having a space to share the little moments in life — the ordinary things that end up meaning the most.

So here I am again.

And this time, I’m building something that truly reflects my life as it is today.

I’m Jessica.

I’m a wife, a mom, a CNA in the emergency department, and currently a college student working toward my nursing degree. Life can be busy, unpredictable, and sometimes exhausting — especially working in healthcare — but it’s also incredibly meaningful.

Outside of the hospital, my life is full of the simple things I love most:

• slow mornings at home
• cozy spaces
• photography
• time with my family
• learning and growing
• and finding beauty in everyday moments

This blog is where all of that comes together.

It’s about documenting life.

It’s about slowing down long enough to notice the little things that often get lost in busy days.

It’s about creating something meaningful and sharing it with others who might be walking through similar seasons of life.

And honestly?

It’s also about doing something creative that brings me joy.

Starting this blog again feels a little like opening a new chapter.

Not a perfect chapter. Not a polished one. Just a real one.
